The Publications Programme

The Department of Publications operates as a small university press within the Institute, and publishes the results of research carried out by all medievalists. The Institute publishes studies, texts, translations, reference works, and collections of articles relating to the history and culture of the Middle Ages. The Institute’s annual journal, Mediaeval Studies, has been published continuously since 1939. Our complete catalogue can be searched by series or by subjects. Individuals, booksellers, and libraries can remain up-to-date on our recent and forthcoming publications by checking our New Titles page.
